Securely share your data with UtilityAPI

Utility API is a safe and secure method of approving your utility to share your data with a third party, like US. This allows GreenStart to gather granular information about your site's electric history, and put together an estimate for how solar, batteries, EVs, and a more electrified home can benefit you!
We can find work-arounds; for one, if you don't have an online account with your utility, you'll need one. This is the way the utility knows that you are okay with sharing your data with GreenStart (and not some rando!).
If you prefer not to use the UtilityAPI route, we have work arounds. See the FAQ below
In short - you can. But we caution, if you do this, we only get to know your monthly total consumption history, and a few tidbits of information. Your weekly, daily, and hourly usage patterns will be a mystery. When we have these data (called 'interval data') we can accurately model the impact of your home's electrification.
That depends - do you have 2 separate utilities for your Gas and Electric bills? If so, you'll have to go through the process twice.
